Partners in Aviation Appoints Cameron Gowans as Vice President of Operations

Chicago, IL (January 29, 2025) — Partners In Aviation (PIA), developers of PIA Managed Co-Ownership, the program that matches two owners to share one aircraft and operate at half the cost, announced Tuesday that seasoned aviation leader Cameron Gowans has joined the company as Vice President of Operations.

With an extensive career spanning senior leadership roles across prominent aviation organizations, Gowans brings expertise in sales, operations, and executive management. His previous roles include President, COO, and CCO of Four Corners Aviation; Chief Strategy Officer at Aquila Aviation Holdings; and Head of Strategy at MENTE Group. Earlier in his career, Gowans served as President of Jet Linx Chicago, Vice President of Sales at Embraer Executive Jets, and Chief Marketing Officer at Flight Options.

Throughout his career, Gowans has built a reputation for his comprehensive understanding of business aviation—from whole aircraft sales to fractional ownership, jet card programs, charter services, and aircraft management. According to Founder and President of PIA, Mark Molloy, his expertise will strengthen PIA’s ability to provide tailored solutions to partners.

“Cam’s depth of knowledge and leadership experience in private aviation is a real asset for Partners In Aviation,” said Molloy. “His skillset and track record align well with what we do and what we need to help us continue to grow.”

Gowans expressed his enthusiasm for joining PIA, stating, “Partners In Aviation is recognized and respected in our industry as having carved out a niche in the ever-evolving “shared-ownership” space that resonates with many of our customers – those somewhere between membership and ownership. From what I have observed, PIA’s success has come from their commitment to doing one thing “Managed Co-Owhership” really well, and that focus resonates with me. I look forward to supporting its continued growth.”

Gowans’ addition to the team comes as PIA’s Managed Co-Ownership model continues to gain traction as a cost-effective and efficient alternative to sole ownership and jet cards. The program, designed for those flying between 50 and 150 hours annually, offers all the access of sole ownership at half the cost along with the legal and operational framework to ensure a seamless co-ownership experience.
